People protest against climate change and sue their government for "not doing enough". Then they go on vacation in Dubai, use clothes from the other side of the planet, buy a new smartphone every year, use a shitton of plastic and waste for their personnal confort, warm their house to tropical temperature everyday in the winter, want the gov to put a shitload of salt on the road every winter because they donnt want to drive slower (and on sidewalk), etc I've stopped listening to people who want to spread ecology in other peoplens face without doing it themselves. We had a minister like that in France Wanted to change the world to be more ecofriendly. It stopped when a newspapper announced he had no less than 9 vehicles, including plane, jetski, bigass pick up, etc. You can change it but start by yourself.

Cap here. I was one of the teenagers there. Sadly, about 75% of the People there just used it as an excuse to skip school, they were actually smoking, drinking and lighting fireworks. I saw people that were 'smart' enough to use slogans that said something in the line of "because of global warming, this might be the last time you see snow this century" Also. Government will never listen to us anyway *flies away*

I see this a lot in comments, so just hear this : you gotta stop hating on students you know nothing about, and stop individual ecological hyper-accountability. Yes everyone can do lil things, but if laws and regulation are not actually changed, it won't do shit. And for the record, this manifestation is because the current Belgian governement (yeah we kinda have one) talks a lot about what they are going to do, but won't do shit.
